The energy division opened in 2010 because the Utica play sits in the counties Water Transport already drove. Pads in Jefferson, Harrison, and Belmont counties are a local haul.
Completions burn water on a clock. We source and transport the volume a multi-stage job needs and deliver it to the well site so the crew is not standing on an empty tank.
Municipal potable water is available from the Wintersville station when the job requires that spec. Other approved sources are discussed with dispatch before the first load. Do not assume every freshwater ticket is a drinking spec.
