Potable means the load is fit to drink. Water Transport built that standard into the company when stainless tanks replaced a steel pot. Sanitation habits came from the dairy industry, not from a construction yard.
Use this page when the water will be consumed or will touch food service, temporary housing, event welfare, or a household cistern. Construction trailers and short-term facilities that need drinking water belong here too.
The Wintersville load station is supplied by Jefferson County Water & Sewer. That is the municipal source for drinking-quality bulk. If a job can take process water instead, say so — that is a different ticket under freshwater delivery.
Give dispatch the volume, the fill point, hose length, and whether the water must stay potable from station to tank. We will not mix a potable load with a process haul.
